Senior Pastor: Rev. Robin Haensel

Katherine and I, along with our daughter Julie-Anne, are really enjoying Erindale Alliance and the city of Saskatoon. After 15 years of ministry in rural Saskatchewan we are facing new opportunities and new challenges in our personal lives. Our family grew up and branched out during the last 10 years which were spent in Tisdale, SK., planting a church. One son, Keith, graduated in 1999 and is currently a student in Lethbridge, AB pursuing his passion in the field of conservation. Our second son, Jonathon, graduated in 2001 and is apprenticing as a carpenter in Calgary, AB. We served 5 years prior to that at the Rosetown Alliance Church, near my hometown of Elrose.

There are certainly many differences between smaller communities and urban centers, like Saskatoon. One thing that does not change is God. Scripture reminds us that, "Jesus is the same yesterday and today and forever."

God still desires to bring people into relationship with Him through Jesus, the mediator. My desire, as I fulfill the role God has given me, is to empower God’s people to do something significant for the Kingdom of God! I am really excited about what God has done in and through Erindale Alliance over the past 18 years. I am even more excited as I consider what God wants to do over the next 18 years.

If you are looking for meaning or excitement in your life, Christ is the answer! If you are seeking to do something significant with your life, why not give Him a try. Contact any of our staff for more information. Come and visit us at 310 Perehudoff Crescent anytime to see how you can make an eternal difference in our city and in our world!

Pastor of Young Adults & Youth: Evan Jenkins

Pastor Emeritus: Rev. Ernest Regier Ernest was born and raised in the Swift Current, SK area. Post-secondary training included Swift Current Bible Institute (Saskatchewan) and Grace Bible Institute (Omaha, Nebraska).

In 1958, Ernest was involved in planting a new church in Shaunavon, SK, and two years later married Helen Dahl. By 1965, they had three children and had built a new church. The next 13 years were spent in Prince Albert, SK, where again they started a new church and had two successive building programs.

In 1978, Ernest and Helen were asked to start a new church in Saskatoon's Lawson Heights. Having completed a new building, a new area on the east side of Saskatoon (Erindale) was opening up and so in 1986 another church planting and building program was begun.

In 1997, Ernest and Helen retired from full-time ministry. However, the new senior pastor at the time (Rev. John McGregor) asked them to join the ministry team on a part-time basis.

Any small measure of success can be attributed to helpful, sacrificing people, a very supportive wife, and the grace of God.
