Bible Quizzing
at Erindale Alliance Church

Our practices will be on Sunday evenings from 6 to 8, except on long weekends when we'll meet on the Monday. If you have any questions, please call Jeff and Lana Haight at 242-3626.

What is this "Quizzing"?:
It's a Bible study and memorization program for youth in grades seven to 12.

When? What time commitment would it require?:
Our program runs from September to the end of April, with practices on Sundays from 6 to 8 p.m. except on long weekends when we meet on the Monday.

How much does it cost?:
The cost is $4 for the Scripture booklet, and approximately $35 when we go to weekend quiz meets.

Why should I get involved?:
God’s Word . . . is eternal (Luke 21:33)
It can cleanse our ways (Psalm 119:9)
Scripture that is hidden in our hearts may be used to keep us from sinning (Psalm 119:11)
It gives us direction in life (Psalm 119:105)
We can use memorized Scripture to refute Satan and aid in dealing with temptation (Matthew 4:1 to 11)
We can refute heresies with the truth (1 Peter 3:15)
Those verses can help us in witnessing (Acts 2:14 to 40)
Scripture is the only offensive weapon in the Christian's armour (Ephesians 6:11 to 18)
Studying the Bible is the means to show ourselves approved of God, thus we can rightly divide (discern and use) the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15)
